Bachelor Degree

Four-year colleges and universities award this degree after students have accumulated a certain number of undergraduate credits. Usually the Bachelor’s degree takes four years to earn, and is a pre-requisite for studies in a graduate program. There are different types of bachelor’s degrees, such as a B.A. (bachelor of arts), B.S. (bachelor of science), and B.F.A. (bachelor of fine arts). Each college makes its own determination about the type of bachelor’s degrees it offers, and the qualifications necessary for receiving one or the other.
