FSA Announces Change to Login for FAA Access to CPS Online and SAIG Enrollment Web Sites

Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority has learned that Federal Student Aid (FSA) announced an upcoming change to the login process for the financial aid administrator FAA Access to CPS online and Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Enrollment Web sites.

At the Fall Conferences FSA addressed the security concerns raised by requiring that financial aid professionals provide personally identifiable information to log in to Federal Student Aid Web sites. Instead, with the new process users will be issued an FSA User ID and will create a password. Aid administrators should then be able to log in once to access some FSA systems.

A detailed Electronic Announcement identifying which Web sites will be affected by the change, and which will not, was issued by FSA. It can be found at: http://ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/030309PMSAIntergraOverview.html.
