Pell, ACG, and SMART Grant 2007-08 Award Year Processing Deadline

Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority advises schools that Federal Student Assistance has issued notice of the deadline for electronically transmitting Pell Grant records, as well as Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) and National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National SMART Grant) records.  The data must be submitted to the Department of Education’s Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System by Tuesday, September 30, 2008. 

Contained in the FSA Electronic Announcement is background information on the applicable regulations and critical information related to disbursements.  Included also are links to two other important Electronic Announcements providing extensive guidance on activities and deadlines that coincide with the September 30, 2008 processing deadline.
