FISAP Submission Deadline and FSA Training

Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority reports that Federal Student Aid posted an Electronic Announcement reminding schools of the approaching deadline for submission of the Fiscal Operations Report for 2007-2008 and the Application to Participate for 2009-2010 (FISAP) in the Campus-Based programs.  The date by which institutions must submit the FISAP is Wednesday, October 1, 2008.  

The FISAP must be submitted by schools that had campus-based expenditures and those that wish to receive funding for the Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), and Federal Work-Study (FWS) programs.  The FSA announcement of the deadline can be accessed at http://ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/0904FISAPSubmitDeadlineOct1.html.

FSA also announced its online, instructor-led training session on the FISAP.  In the two-hour training session, FSA will cover important information relating to completion of the document, and include time for questions and answers.

Intended for Financial Aid Administrators and Business Officers, the training will be presented from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
