Student Loan Manager Retires
Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority has been notified that after nearly 19 years in the student loan industry Ada Prins is retiring. Ada came to the United States in 1976. Previously she taught school in both Fiji and Tonga.
Making a career change once she arrived in the U.S., Ada went to work for what was then First Security Bank. Her last three years there she worked in Student Loans. Over 15 years ago she moved to Zions Bank, where she became Vice President & Student Loan Manager.
Ada and her husband plan to spend retirement traveling. They have family in Europe, as well as New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji. UHEAA extends sincere appreciation and best wishes to Ada.
Brad Ewell, who is well-known in the student loan industry, will replace Ada at Zion’s Bank. Brad assumed his new position June 18th.
