Publication of Common Manual Set for October 1, 2006

The Common Manual: Unified Student Loan Policy, which is an introduction to and overview of participation in the Federal Family Educational Loan Program, is usually published every July with updates throughout the year. In order to include provisions of the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005 that affect loan provisions of Title IV regulations, the Common Manual will be published in October this year instead of July.

Extensive work is underway to assure the manual will be as current as possible when it is published. As soon as the new manual is available, UHEAA will distribute copies to partner schools and lenders that wish to receive the printed version. As always the most current version of the CommonManual is available online at www.uheaa.org under the link for financial aid administrators.
