New Regulations Training for Schools

    The Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) announces a training workshop to review the final regulations issued November 1, 2002 as they pertain to the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP).  These new regulations generally have an effective date of July 1, 2003.  In addition to reviewing the new regulations, this training workshop will also introduce the recently approved PLUS Master Promissory Note (PLUS MPN).

    The workshop will be offered on two different dates as follows:

Public and Private Colleges and Universities
 Date:  Wednesday, May 14, 2003
 Time:  10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Proprietary Colleges and Schools
 Date:  Friday, May 16, 2003
 Time:  10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    Both sessions will be conducted at UHEAA's offices located at the following address:
Board of Regents Building, The Gateway
60 S 400 W, 5th Floor Conf. Room
Salt Lake City, Utah
     Lunch will be provided as well as parking validations in the Gateway parking structure.  If you drive and use the Gateway parking please enter the Winter Parking garage from either 400 West or 100 South streets.
