 Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG)
 
    The U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently released an Action Letter providing additional information concerning recent changes and enhancements to the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG).  SAIG is ED's vehicle for electronically transmitting and receiving data on financial aid programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act, as amended.   The Title IV delivery systems that use SAIG for data transmissions include the following: This Action Letter provides information and enhancements regarding SAIG, including the following:     A copy of this Action Letter is available on ED's web site at http://ifap.ed.gov.  If you are unable to access ED's web site and would like a hard copy, please contact Stacey Roberts at (801) 321-7211.  Any questions regarding this Bulletin should be directed to the UHEAA Policy and Training Department at (801) 321-7166 or by e-mail at cjudd@utahsbr.edu.
