Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) has become aware of a problem with one of the codes appearing on the ISIR. Apparently, for Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loans, the ISIR will always show an 'N' code. The 'N' code will appear on the ISIR whether or not there is an Master Promissory Note (MPN) on file. The 'N' code on the ISIR should not be interpreted to indicate that there is no MPN on file. The 'N' code on the ISIR actually means N/A.
Any questions regarding codes on the ISIR should be directed to Brenda Cox at (801)321-7181 or by e-mail at bcox@utahsbr.edu.
