The U.S. Department of Education (ED) issued a Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) announcing the replacement of the Student Financial Assistance electronic Bulletin Board Service (SFA BBS).  As of July 1, 1998 the SFA BBS will no longer be updated and will be replaced by the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) web-site.  IFAP can be accessed at: http://ifap.ed.gov.
