Local Service & Extended Hours

• Our Customer Service Representatives are available by telephone Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time. Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Our offices are conveniently located in Salt Lake City, Utah, easy to reach by TRAX or bus and parking is easy! Stop in and visit us sometime!

Customer Service Perspective

• We don't charge a fee for making payments by phone (others may charge as much as $15 per transaction!)
• We have high standards for fast, friendly, and accurate service!
• Our representatives understand student loans - many of them are students themselves and know what it's like to juggle work, school, home, and finances. When you have questions, they want to help!

State-of-the-Art Technology

• UHEAA provides a secure E-sign process so you can complete the "paperwork" for your loans wherever and whenever is convenient for you!
• You can access your student loan account securely online anytime to check your student loan balance, ensure that your payment was received, and generally manage your account.
• When it's time for repayment, you can make your payments online at no charge... or better yet, you can sign up to have your payments automatically withdrawn (see the next section for info on that borrower benefit)!

Automatic Payment Benefit

• When you sign up for time-saving automatic payments, your monthly payment will be automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account each month, and we'll reduce the interest rate of your Federal Stafford or Federal PLUS Loan by 0.25%. To sign up for this service, click here.
